This sophisticated bolt-on system surpasses the Procomp kit with its larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which enhance heat resistance and ensure uncompromised operation even under extreme conditions. Additionally, the floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even pad application. This kit comes standard with Ksport NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F and 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. For customization, rotors can be specified as either cross-drilled or slotted; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track-focused vehicles.
