Building upon the acclaimed Procomp kit, the Supercomp version incorporates significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a higher piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance caliper self-centering capabilities. Each caliper is forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, while aluminum pistons are employed to manage heat effectively. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper design from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit offers superior strength and even thickness throughout the caliper block. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer rotor section to adjust slightly, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more consistent pad application. Rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled options; slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their enhanced cooling and debris-expulsion capabilities, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
