The CP-Carrillo PRO-H Connecting Rod Set (SCR7567) offers a lightweight yet high-strength upgrade for the BMW N54 twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine. Each connecting rod is meticulously crafted from a forging of Carrilloy, CP-Carrillo's proprietary steel alloy incorporating chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. These rods undergo a heat treatment and shot-peening process to significantly enhance their strength and durability, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions. This set includes WMC connecting rod bolts made from H11 tool steel, known for their ability to withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles. These bolts are commonly utilized in highly stressed structural components within the aerospace industry, underscoring their robust nature. The connecting rods feature a length of 145mm, a pin width of 20.88mm, a big width of 20.88mm, a big bore of 53.624mm, and a pin bore of 22.00mm. These connecting rods are designed to fit various BMW models equipped with the N54 engine, including the E82/E88 135i (2008-2010), E90/E92/E93 335i/335xi (2007-2010), E92/E93 335is (2011-2013), E60/E61 535i/535xi (2008-2010), F01/F02 740i/740Li (2009-2015), E71 X6 xDrive35i (2008-2009), and E89 Z4 sDrive35i/35is (2009-2016). A crucial fitment note specifies that these rods are not for use with original BMW pistons.
