Overview

The Carrillo connecting rods are designed for Subaru and Toyota FA20 engines. These Pro-H profile connecting rods are forged from proprietary 4330 M steel alloy for strength. They are fully machined, shot-peened for stress relief, and feature premium silicone bushings for full floating pins. The rods include CARR fasteners and retain the factory eighteen-degree split line angle for ease of assembly.

The Carrillo Pro-H connecting rods are engineered for high-performance Subaru and Toyota FA20 engines. Forged from a proprietary 4330 M steel alloy, these rods are built for extreme strength and durability. The Pro-H profile and precision machining ensure optimal performance under demanding conditions. Each rod undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including being fully CNC-machined from oversized forgings for proper grain flow. They are magnafluxed at least twice and Rockwell tested to verify heat treatment. The shot-peening process relieves stress, while the sets are matched to within +/- 1 gram per end for precise balance. These connecting rods feature premium silicone bushings that accommodate full floating pins and come with top-of-the-line CARR fasteners. The design intentionally retains the factory eighteen-degree split line angle to simplify the assembly process. These components are manufactured in the USA, reflecting Carrillo's commitment to quality and performance. They are recommended as a perfect match for CP Low Comp FA20 Forged Pistons, available in 9:1 or 10:1 compression ratios.
