This kit is designed as a direct bolt-on solution, meaning no permanent vehicle modifications are necessary for installation. It surpasses the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, more pistons, and the advantage of full-floating rotors that improve self-centering and reduce drag for enhanced performance. The calipers themselves are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant structure. These calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, maintaining braking performance even under demanding conditions. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal performance in street and occasional track use, offering reduced brake dust and noise while maintaining rotor longevity. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. For customization, the Supercomp kit offers a choice between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, while Slotted rotors are suggested for more track-oriented applications. Ksport offers a wide array of caliper color options, including standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors and over 20,000 custom color finishes.
