Pro LS Vortec Truck Swap Camshaft Stage 2

The Summit Racing™ Pro LS Vortec Truck Swap Camshaft is a Stage 2 hydraulic roller camshaft engineered to deliver substantial mid-range and top-end power for LS truck engines. With an intake duration of 218° and exhaust duration of 227° at 0.050" lift, and a valve lift of 0.522" intake / 0.524" exhaust, it represents a significant upgrade for performance-oriented builds. This camshaft is designed as a drop-in performance upgrade and is noted as the largest option compatible with a stock torque converter. It features a 112° lobe separation angle and a 3-bolt camshaft gear attachment. The basic operating RPM range is 2,200-6,500 RPM. While it does not require new valve springs, using LS6 springs is recommended to further enhance the RPM range and overall performance. This camshaft is not intended for use with VVT (Variable Valve Timing) or AFM (Active Fuel Management) systems. It was originally developed for single-plane circle track applications and provides excellent midrange and top-end power up to 7,000 rpm. Tuning with a slightly raised idle speed is recommended for optimal performance. The camshaft features a base circle of 0.760 inches for both intake and exhaust lobes.
