Overview

This header features 1.75-inch primary tubing with a 3.5-inch collector port, both with a round shape. It is constructed from steel and finished with a durable Hi-Temp Black Coating for corrosion and heat protection.

The Pro-Mod side exit design offers flexibility, allowing hookup to an under-chassis exhaust system or uncorking by removing provided block-off plates. Mounting hardware and gaskets are included for installation.

The Ford Flathead Engines Lakester Style Exhaust Header by Patriot Exhaust provides a nostalgic aesthetic for your build, combined with performance enhancements. This header is specifically designed for Ford Flathead Engines, featuring 1.75-inch diameter primary tubes and a 3.5-inch diameter collector port, both with a round port shape. Constructed from 18-gauge steel, this header is finished with a Hi-Temp Black Coating. This finish offers a good balance of corrosion and heat protection as an affordable alternative to more premium coatings. The Pro-Mod side exit design is a key feature, allowing for connection to an under-chassis exhaust system. Alternatively, by removing the included block-off plates, the headers can be uncorked for a more direct exhaust flow. This performance-grade header includes the necessary gasket and mounting hardware for installation. It does not feature an oxygen sensor port. The collector attaches via a 2-bolt flange. Regarding emissions, this product is intended for use on pre-emissions controlled vehicles (1967 and older US manufactured vehicles) or for closed course competition use only. Users must certify their intended use to comply with federal and state anti-tampering laws.
