The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet exceptionally strong one-piece construction that resists corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers for superior heat resistance and consistent operation. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer braking surface to shift slightly for improved self-centering and more even application, which minimizes brake drag and boosts overall performance. Ksport offers customization options for caliper colors, including standard painted finishes and premium high-polish or anodized options. The included SC5 Street Pads provide optimal performance for street use and occasional track days, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear with an operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, ensuring consistent pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling and slotted for track use.
