Pro Race Axle Package

The Strange Engineering Pro Race Axle Package is a drag-racing focused assembly that includes Hy-Tuf ultra-strength axles, specialized axle bearings, retainer plates, and a 5/8" stud kit. The Hy-Tuf axles are forged from a blend of low carbon, high manganese, high nickel, and high molybdenum steel. They are thru-hardened to Rc 45-48 for maximum torsional strength and then finish machined to ensure precision. Customers can select spline counts from 28 up to 35, with axle lengths available up to 34 7/8", and various bolt circle options. These axles are forged and machined in the USA by Strange Engineering. Included are low-friction sealed ball bearings designed specifically for drag racing, featuring an O.D. groove for an o-ring to eliminate the inner axle seal. These bearings come with o-rings and locking collars, and they integrate with the provided retainer plates for secure axle retention. Retainer plates are available for various housing ends, including early and late Big Ford, small GM, and others, ensuring proper fitment. The package offers a choice of 5/8"-18 stud kits, including bolt-style kits with thin head bolts and spacer washers, or shank-style kits available in six different lengths with various washer options. Hardware kits include threaded sleeves, installation tools, and flanged lug nuts.
