This shifter utilizes a heavy-duty steel base, a hardened steel gate plate, and a one-hand operated reverse lockout that complies with NHRA/IHRA safety regulations. The mil-spec black anodized billet aluminum shift handle, lightweight aluminum trigger, and quick-release aluminum cover contribute to its durable yet refined appearance, topped off with a classic black shift knob. Designed for universal application with automatic transmissions, this shifter is ready for action with most popular 3 and 4-speed transmissions out of the box. It includes a 5-foot Super Duty shift cable, necessary brackets, levers, and hardware, along with detailed instructions for an easy installation. Optional forward and reverse shift pattern gate plates are available for 2, 3, and 4-speed transmissions, with a forward pattern gate plate specifically for 4-speed applications. The precise gate action ensures consistent shifting performance. Key specifications include a 9.22-inch shift lever length, a gated mechanism, and a neutral safety switch. It is NHRA/IHRA approved and finished in a stealthy black anodized look. Please note that this shifter does not include a backup light switch.
