The Raybestos 980684R is a Pro Replacement Disc Brake Rotor engineered for everyday driving on cars, light trucks, and SUVs. It is constructed from OE-matched G3000 steel and features a corrosion-resistant, non-directional ground finish for durability. Raybestos designed this rotor to provide a superior driving experience by minimizing vibration, extending brake pad life, and reducing pedal pulsation. It boasts a stopping power rating of 3 out of 5 and a noise level of 1 out of 5, indicating a quiet operation with adequate stopping capability for normal commute driving. The performance over stock is rated at 0, signifying it is a direct OE replacement. Key specifications include a cast iron construction, smooth-plain, non-coated surface, and it is not cryo-treated. It is a conventional, solid rotor with an outside diameter of 285.8 mm and a height of 48 mm. The disc brake rotor does not include an ABS tone ring. It is designed for rear applications on a variety of Volkswagen and Audi models, including the Jetta, Passat, GTI, Eos, and Audi A3 variants, spanning model years from 2005 to 2010 depending on the specific vehicle.
