This kit builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp system by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are crafted from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat management and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer braking surface to shift slightly as needed. This self-centering capability minimizes brake drag and optimizes performance through more even pad application. Ksport offers extensive customization options for caliper finishes, including standard colors like orange, red, black, and yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color choices. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic compound for optimal street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads and minimizing noise and rotor wear. Additionally, D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling and slotted for track-focused vehicles.
