The ARP 233-4301 Pro Series cylinder head stud kit is engineered for enhanced engine performance and reliability. Each stud is cold-forged to ensure superior molecular integrity and then heat-treated before thread rolling and machining, setting a high standard for durability. This kit features 12-point head nuts and comes complete with hardened parallel washers, which are crucial for achieving even load distribution and obtaining precise torque readings during installation. Constructed from 8740 chromoly material with a black oxide finish, these studs offer robust performance. The kit includes 26 studs and washers. For optimal installation, particularly with certain main cap configurations, it may be necessary to machine the girdle thickness or grind clearance on the sump. This kit is compatible with multiple Chevrolet engines, including the 4.3L V6. It is also cited as fitting 1999-2015 Chevy Gen III/IV LS engines (4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L). The product comes with a manufacturer's standard warranty.
