Pro Series Head Stud Kit

The ARP Pro Series cylinder head stud kit (254-4701) offers enhanced sealing and clamping force for your engine's cylinder heads. These studs are cold-forged from high-strength 8740 chromoly steel to ensure molecular integrity and are heat-treated before thread rolling and machining for optimal durability. Each stud features a 7/16 in.-20 thread size, an undercut design for reduced stress concentration, and a 12-point head style for easy installation with the included hardened parallel washers. These washers provide an even load distribution, leading to more accurate torque readings and a more reliable seal. The black oxide finish offers corrosion resistance. This kit is designed for a wide range of Ford and Mercury V8 engines, including applications from 1968 through 1997. Specific fitments include the Ford Galaxie, Mustang, Country Squire, Fairlane, Torino, Elite, E-Series, LTD II, Thunderbird, Bronco, LTD, LTD Crown Victoria (police sales after 1982), F-Series, and the 1995 Mustang SVT Cobra R. It also fits various Mercury models like the Cougar (station wagons only), Colony Park, Marquis, and Grand Marquis. The kit contains 20 studs. It comes with a Manufacturer's Standard Warranty.
