Critical dimensions are left oversize before heat treatment for added strength, with final machining completed post-heat treat to ensure precise specifications. The product weighs 8.45 lbs and is forged in the USA. Installation of this spool requires a C-clip eliminator kit or aftermarket housing ends. Additionally, the splines on this spool are not in a stock location, meaning axle lengths will need to be recalculated; customers should call for details regarding this modification.
