Pro Series Ring Gear Bolt Kit

The ARP 4216-3AK is a high-strength ring gear bolt kit designed to secure the ring gear to the differential case. This kit contains ten bolts, sized 7/16-20 x 15/16, and includes specially hardened, precision-ground washers for optimal load distribution. Each bolt is constructed from premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to achieve a nominal tensile strength of 200,000 psi, ensuring durability under extreme conditions. Engineered by ARP for performance applications, these Pro Series bolts feature a 12-point socket head for secure engagement and a 1/2 shank. The exceptional strength of these fasteners is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the ring gear assembly. Proper installation is critical for the longevity and safety of this component. ARP advises that ring gear bolts should be properly tightened and regularly checked for looseness, particularly in vehicles prone to tire shake.
