Pro-ST Coilover

The Skunk2 Pro-ST coilover system is engineered to racing specifications and tested by winning racing teams, offering a high-level technology solution for daily-driven performance vehicles. These coilovers are designed with sports cars in mind, featuring shorter Pro-ST shock absorbers that lower the vehicle by approximately 3 inches while maintaining full shock travel. The 12-way damping adjustability enables precise tuning for different driving conditions, from street to track. The system utilizes large 52mm seamless carbon steel mono-tube shock bodies, which house a larger hydraulic piston and valves, more shock oil, and an enlarged nitrogen chamber. These features contribute to significant improvements in compression and rebound response, vastly improved handling characteristics, and extreme durability. The shock bodies and threads are protected from the elements with gold-colored zinc electroplating. Skunk2 chose linear rate springs for consistency under various loading conditions. The springs offer rates of 10kg/mm in the front and 8kg/mm in the rear, providing predictable feedback during cornering and over bumps. Each spring is constructed from AE9254V Chrome Vanadium. The externally threaded shock bodies allow for independent adjustment of ride height and spring preload, enabling fine-tuning of the vehicle's corner balance without compromising ride quality. This coilover set is specifically designed for the 2012-2013 Honda Civic Si models. It is also compatible with various other 2012-2013 Honda Civic trims including DX, EX, EX-L, GX, HF, Hybrid, Hybrid-L, and LX, as well as the 2013 Honda Civic Natural Gas.
