This kit builds upon the Procomp system with larger calipers, rotors, and pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, lightness, and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. Construction highlights include lightweight, one-piece forged calipers CNC machined from aerospace-quality aluminum, providing uniform thickness and robust strength. The rotors are a floating two-piece design, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and more consistent pad application, thereby boosting performance. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, while slotted are suggested for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport offers extensive customization for caliper finishes, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish options in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors. Over 20,000 custom color finishes are also available. The product is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Fitment is confirmed for 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX models.
