Pro X Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the foundation of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston sizes and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering capabilities. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, incredibly strong, and resistant to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design is standard, allowing the outer section to shift as needed for improved self-centering, reduced brake drag, and more even application for increased performance. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal braking performance on the street and during occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization for the rotors, with options for either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles experiencing more track use.
