The Screamin' Eagle Pro XL 1200 cc Stage 4 Kit is a high-compression piston kit designed for experienced riders seeking enhanced performance. This kit features forged pistons with a standard bore size and high compression ratio, aimed at increasing engine output. The kit includes pistons, piston ring sets, piston pins, and piston pin circlips. Installation of this kit requires careful attention to detail and specific procedures outlined in the service manual. A critical post-installation step is the recalibration of the Engine Control Module (ECM) by an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer using Digital Technician™. Failure to properly recalibrate the ECM can lead to severe engine damage. This kit is intended for high-performance applications and is suitable for vehicles that are already 1200 cc displacement with a stock 3.500 in. bore. If the existing cylinders are damaged or worn, replacement cylinders must be ordered. Additionally, a Screamin' Eagle air cleaner kit compatible with the supplied 58 mm throttle body is required, and Screamin' Eagle spark plugs (part no. 32186-10) are recommended for this high compression configuration.
