The Akebono ACT1729 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set is engineered as an OE replacement, utilizing Akebono Ceramic Technology (ACT) for consistent pedal feel and smooth stopping performance. They are also noted as a popular brake upgrade that requires no break-in period. This specific part number, ACT1729, is compatible with the rear of various Mazda 3 and Mazda 3 Sport models from 2014 to 2018, including those produced in Japan. Some models may have specific requirements, such as those with a manual parking brake. Brake sensors are included with the pads, but brake lubricant is sold separately.
