The Tomei Procam 282/282 camshaft set is engineered for the VR38DETT Nissan GTR, specifically for high power setups and professional tuning applications. This kit features high-spec profiles to optimize engine performance. This set includes a full complement of four camshafts, comprising two intake and two exhaust units. Key specifications include a duration of 282 degrees for both intake and exhaust, a maximum cam lift of 11.30mm, and maximum valve lifts of 11.00mm for intake and 10.97mm for exhaust. The cold valve clearance is set at 0.30mm for intake and 0.33mm for exhaust, with valve timing centerlines at 124.0° for intake and 115.0° for exhaust. The base circle for both is Φ35.4. These Procam camshafts are recommended for use with upgraded turbochargers and necessitate the installation of high-performance valve springs. Tomei also recommends their own GTR Valve Springs for optimal integration and performance. The intended application is for the 2009+ Nissan R35 GT-R, targeting drift, track, and drag racing scenarios due to their design for high RPM use and large turbo setups.
