The Tomei Procam 282° camshafts are engineered for "PRO-tuners" seeking high power and RPM compatibility for the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine in Evo 4, 5, and 6 models (CN9A 1996-1997 Evolution IV, CP9A 1998-2000 Evolution V VI). These "Lash Type" camshafts offer a substantial 282° duration and 11.50mm lift on both the intake and exhaust sides, designed to work seamlessly with standard lifters. To fully unleash the potential of these Procam camshafts, a professional tune is highly recommended, as they are built to work great with a variety of engine setups and are compatible with high power and RPM applications. It is crucial to note that this camshaft upgrade necessitates the use of upgraded valve springs; Tomei recommends their 4G63 Valve Springs (TA304A-MT01A) for optimal performance and reliability. The purchase includes both the intake camshaft (TA301D-MT01C) and the exhaust camshaft (TA301F-MT01G).
