The Tomei Procam camshaft is engineered to optimize the performance of Subaru EJ25 Dual AVCS engines by addressing the limitations of factory camshafts. Factory camshafts often prioritize smooth idle and fuel economy over raw performance, sacrificing low-end torque and top-end power. This Tomei Procam camshaft directly combats that by improving airflow through increased valve duration and lift, leading to significant gains in both horsepower and torque across the RPM range. Manufactured with precision, all Tomei Camshafts are CNC machined to ensure an exact fit and accurate valve lift and duration specifications. This particular camshaft boasts a duration of 27 degrees and a maximum valve lift of 10.80mm. It is designed with pre-set valve timing for stable idling and is compatible with the stock valve springs, simplifying installation. Selecting the proper camshaft is crucial for maximizing an engine's potential. The increased volume is achieved by extending valve opening duration and increasing valve lift and overlap. This camshaft is confirmed to fit a range of Subaru WRX and WRX STI models, generally from 2012-2021 for WRX and 2013-2021 for WRX STI.
