The Tomei PROCAM is a high-performance exhaust camshaft engineered specifically for the Nissan RB26DETT engine, compatible with R32, R33, and R34 GT-R models. This "HI" type camshaft features a 280-degree working angle and 10.80mm lift, designed to optimize valve timing for increased exhaust flow and improved engine output in high-performance applications. Installation of this camshaft requires significant supporting modifications for proper operation and engine safety. Tomei lifters and uprated valve springs are mandatory for this HI-type camshaft. Additionally, adjust shims may be required to achieve correct clearances for some models. Because this component utilizes a high-lift cam lobe profile, professional installation is strongly recommended. The cylinder head may require additional modification to provide sufficient clearance for the high cam lobes; the amount of clearance needed varies between individual cylinder heads and must be checked after the camshaft is fitted to ensure safe operation.
