Featuring a 13-inch (330mm) cross-drilled floating two-piece rotor and an 8-piston opposed caliper, this kit is purpose-built for drivers who demand performance beyond what OEM brake systems can provide. The lightweight one-piece billet caliper is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum for uniform wall thickness and structural integrity, weighing just over 5 lbs each to minimize unsprung weight and improve handling response. Its opposed 8-piston design enhances pad wear consistency and caliper rigidity compared to OEM single-piston designs, while aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance and corrosion-free operation. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The floating two-piece rotor assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight. The outer ring shifts slightly under load for better self-centering in the caliper, leading to lower brake drag and more even pad application. This floating design prevents thermal stress from warping the disc.
