ProComp 4-Piston 356mm Slotted Big Brake Kit

This rear brake system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad surface temperature under demanding conditions. The kit includes a lightweight, aircraft-quality billet aluminum caliper with a differential bore configuration, weighing just over 5 lbs. It features aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent brake feel. This specific kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique slotted rotor design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with more track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers. This rear big brake kit includes a ProComp 4-piston caliper, red in color, with 356mm (14-inch) slotted rotors. It is specifically designed for the 2014-2016 Mazda 6 with the 2.5L GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated engine. Please note that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit.
