Description

This rear kit features a lightweight, aircraft-quality billet caliper with a differential bore configuration. The caliper is finished in red and houses 4 pistons, designed for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston configuration is standard, paired with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes a 304mm (12-inch) 2-piece floating disc assembly with a unique slotted rotor design. This design helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving. The application is specifically for the 1987-1989 Toyota MR2 AW11 Chassis. Note that for this specific kit, the OEM handbrake will not function after installation.
