The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat dissipation and reliable operation. Included in the kit are SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads are formulated to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Ksport offers customization options for the calipers, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and custom color options. The rotors can also be specified as either cross-drilled (recommended for daily drivers for better cooling) or slotted (recommended for track use). Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations.
