Description

This Procomp Big Brake Kit for the rear of your vehicle includes red, 4-piston ProComp calipers and 304mm (12-inch) slotted rotors. The calipers are constructed from aircraft-quality billet with differential bore configuration, weighing just over 5 lbs each. They feature aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, with an opposed piston design to enhance pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can warp discs. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. This kit is specifically designed for the 2008-2012 Audi A3 Sportback 2WD models with the 2.0L turbocharged engine. It is noted that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit installed.
