The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit provides enhanced stopping power for your 2010-2013 Subaru Legacy BM9 chassis. The kit integrates new brake technology to continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. At the core of this kit are the extreme lightweight ProComp calipers, machined from aircraft-quality billet. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Their opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. These slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
