The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers superior stopping power for your Subaru Tribeca (2005-2013). The kit features an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. This opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates for durability and performance. The opposing piston design significantly improves pad grip and reduces uneven wear. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit includes 14-inch slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles experiencing more track use than daily driving. Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects.
