The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade engineered to significantly enhance stopping power, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. This kit is designed for the front of the 2006-2009 Pontiac Solstice. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering both lightweight properties and exceptional strength while resisting corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat resistance and reliable operation. The kit features 330mm slotted, two-piece rotors, which contribute to fade-free performance and effective grip, suitable for both track and street driving. Additionally, the kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which help prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Included in the standard kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads designed for optimal braking performance on the street with reduced dust and noise, and two stainless steel brake lines.
