The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power, specifically engineered to perform under sustained high-heat conditions. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat dissipation compared to traditional materials, maintaining uncompromised performance. This comprehensive kit features 356mm (14-inch) two-piece rotors with a drilled surface for improved cooling and fade resistance, paired with robust 8-piston calipers. The opposed piston design of the calipers enhances pad wear and rigidity over OEM components. Carbon steel caliper brackets are included to facilitate a direct bolt-on installation to the original caliper bracket locations. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. The kit comes complete with Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track use. These pads offer a 50% reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F.
