The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit offers a substantial upgrade for your Mazda MX-6 (1988-1992), delivering enhanced stopping power, especially under demanding high-heat situations. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals to ensure reliable performance. This kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design, available in slotted or cross-drilled options, which reduces rotational and unsprung weight. The slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily driving. For optimal braking performance on the street and occasional track use, the kit includes SC5 Street Brake Pads, which offer reduced dust and noise. Furthermore, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal response and feel by preventing line expansion under pressure. Included in the kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
