The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit BKSB210-831SO is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for your 2015-2016 Subaru WRX. This kit is designed as a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade to enhance brake performance, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions, while significantly reducing brake fade. The kit features a lightweight, 8-piston ProComp caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, finished in red, and weighing just over 5 lbs. It incorporates a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Additionally, stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. This big brake kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique slotted rotor design helps minimize braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more frequently for track driving. This front brake kit includes a 330mm (13-inch) diameter slotted rotor. It is specifically designed for the 2015-2016 Subaru WRX models equipped with the 2.0L 1998CC 122Cu. In. H4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged engine.
