Overview

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade for sustained high-heat conditions. Its 8-piston calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, featuring aluminum pistons for enhanced heat resistance. It comes with SC5 Street Pads for optimal street and occasional track use, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal response.

Show original supplier description

The kit features robust 8-piston calipers, precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum. This construction ensures lightweight strength, exceptional rigidity, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, ensuring reliable operation even under demanding use. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotor styles, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted for more track-focused applications. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic compound. These pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust (by over 50% compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear. They perform optimally in temperatures between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. This Procomp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2006-2008 Dodge Magnum (Non SRT-8/Non AWD models). Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Custom caliper color options, including premium high polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color finishes, are available for a personalized look.
