The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Front Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade engineered to significantly enhance braking performance, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. Constructed with a 1-piece forged, monoblock aluminum caliper body, this kit offers unparalleled strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat management compared to OEM components, ensuring consistent performance. The opposed piston caliper design also enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. This kit features lightweight, two-piece rotors available in either slotted or cross-drilled configurations. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their improved heat dissipation, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler and reduce brake dust. Included are SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. The system also incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
