The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide enhanced stopping power for the Volkswagen B7 Passat Late Model, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. This sophisticated bolt-on upgrade replaces your factory braking components with a high-performance system. The kit includes lightweight, forged one-piece calipers constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, featuring an opposed-piston design for consistent pad wear and grip. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates to ensure optimal performance and durability, even under demanding driving scenarios. Complementing the calipers are two-piece, 330mm x 32mm rotors. These rotors are significantly lighter than OEM one-piece units, reducing rotational mass for improved wheel control and responsiveness. The two-piece design allows for independent expansion and contraction of rotor sections, minimizing warping due to heat. Cross-drilled rotors are included, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal response and firmness by eliminating line expansion under pressure.
