Designed as a sophisticated, bolt-on brake solution, this kit enhances brake performance, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions, by reducing brake fade and continually refreshing the brake pad surface. Each caliper is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, resulting in an extremely lightweight design (just over 5 lbs) with integrated protection grooves. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and rigidity compared to OEM components. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are standard. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, the slotted rotors in this kit are recommended for vehicles with more track use.
