The Ksport Procomp Audi A3 Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power, designed for enhanced performance under high-heat conditions. The calipers are precision-machined from a one-piece billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management and are equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker response. Buyers can choose between Cross Drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to their cooler operation, or Slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use as they dissipate heat, dust, and gases more effectively. The system includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal response and feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Included in the standard kit are forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. Ksport offers customization options, including various caliper colors and optional upgrades to RCI race pads for extreme track conditions. All Ksport Big Brake Kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
