ProComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport ProComp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and performance. This advanced braking system features 330mm (13-inch) large ventilated discs with a unique slot design that reduces noise and expels gas and debris more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Key components include 8-piston aluminum calipers, D.O.T. compliant stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure, machined aluminum hats, and carbon steel brackets. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses. The caliper itself is constructed from aircraft-quality billet, weighs just over 5lbs, and includes machined protection grooves. Standard features also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, enhancing pad wear and caliper rigidity. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 street brake pads, with RC1 race pads available as an upgrade. It is important to note that 17-inch wheels are required to accommodate the 330mm rotors.
