Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons that provide superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. This rear big brake kit features 4-piston calipers and 356mm two-piece slotted rotors, designed for optimal performance on both the racetrack and the street. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Also included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The included SC5 Street Pads, made with NAOC Ceramic compound, deliver optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions. These pads significantly reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. They are effective within an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. This kit is specifically designed for 1997-2001 Infiniti Q45 models, with confirmed fitment for 2002-2006 Infiniti Q45 Base and 2006 Infiniti Q45 Base trims.
