This kit builds upon the acclaimed Procomp design by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count for superior hydraulic force, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities for reduced drag and more consistent pad application. The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and immunity to corrosion. This kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for both street use and occasional track days. These pads are engineered to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, minimize noise, and prolong rotor life, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. The braking system is further enhanced by D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles frequently used on the track due to their superior heat dissipation and debris clearing capabilities, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
