Procomp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide significantly enhanced stopping power for your Mazda Millenia (1995-2003). This kit integrates advanced brake technology aimed at reducing brake fade and ensuring consistent performance, even under demanding conditions. The design includes features that continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. Constructed with extreme lightweight, one-piece monoblock aluminum calipers, this system utilizes a CNC machined process from aircraft-quality billet. The calipers feature an opposed-piston design which greatly improves pad grip and reduces uneven wear compared to OEM designs. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The included stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel and faster response. The kit incorporates a two-piece disc assembly, which reduces both rotational mass and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping. The unique slot design on the rotors aids in reducing braking noise and expelling gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For street use, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation and increased bite, while slotted rotors are suggested for track applications to help dissipate heat and debris. Rotor size options range from 11 to 14 inches, and calipers are available in standard colors like Orange, Red, Yellow, and Black, with custom color options also available. This kit is specifically designed for the front position and features 8-piston calipers with 330mm diameter and 32mm width drilled rotors.
