Procomp Big Brake Kit

The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and superior corrosion resistance. This design ensures uncompromised operation and heat resistance, even under demanding driving scenarios. The opposed piston caliper design of the 8-pot front calipers (standard on 13" and 14" systems) greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The kit includes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets, allowing the larger calipers to bolt directly into the OEM caliper bracket location. This kit features two-piece rotors, which provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip suitable for both the racetrack and comfortable daily driving. Standard with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F - 1022°F. Also included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. The Procomp system offers customization options for rotors, including cross-drilled (recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation) or slotted (recommended for track use). Calipers come standard in painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color choices.
