The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as a sophisticated, bolt-on brake upgrade to significantly enhance stopping power, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant design. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance and ensure uncompromised operation even under demanding use. This kit includes 6-piston lightweight aluminum calipers for 11" and 12" systems, featuring an opposed piston design that improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, are included to facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature between 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel, quicker pedal response, and preventing line expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused vehicles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
