The Ksport BKVW231-831CO Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver dramatically enhanced stopping power, significantly reducing brake fade and continuously cooling the brake pad surface under demanding street and track conditions. Constructed with aircraft-grade billet aluminum, the calipers are offered in 4, 6, or 8 piston opposed-piston configurations. Each caliper is one-piece CNC-machined, weighing just over 5 lbs, and features a differential bore design for optimized pad wear and rigidity. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons to minimize heat transfer and maintain consistent performance at elevated temperatures, along with high-temperature seals and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The floating disc construction prevents thermal stress-induced warping, while the unique slot pattern efficiently expels gas and pad debris, minimizing noise. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for reliable performance and is available in either cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) styles. Included DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines ensure a firmer pedal response by eliminating expansion under pressure.
