Overview

The Ksport BKVW231-831CO Procomp Big Brake Kit is a bolt-on brake upgrade designed to enhance stopping power. This kit reduces brake fade and continuously cools the brake pad surface during hard braking.

The kit features aircraft-grade billet aluminum calipers, available in 4, 6, or 8 piston configurations. These one-piece CNC-machined calipers weigh just over 5 lbs each and have a differential bore design for optimized pad wear. They include aluminum pistons for consistent operation and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates.

It also includes a two-piece floating rotor design that reduces rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc prevents thermal stress warping, and the unique slot pattern expels gas and debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced, available in cross-drilled or slotted styles. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate expansion and provide a firmer pedal response.

The Ksport BKVW231-831CO Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver dramatically enhanced stopping power, significantly reducing brake fade and continuously cooling the brake pad surface under demanding street and track conditions. Constructed with aircraft-grade billet aluminum, the calipers are offered in 4, 6, or 8 piston opposed-piston configurations. Each caliper is one-piece CNC-machined, weighing just over 5 lbs, and features a differential bore design for optimized pad wear and rigidity. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons to minimize heat transfer and maintain consistent performance at elevated temperatures, along with high-temperature seals and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The floating disc construction prevents thermal stress-induced warping, while the unique slot pattern efficiently expels gas and pad debris, minimizing noise. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for reliable performance and is available in either cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) styles. Included DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines ensure a firmer pedal response by eliminating expansion under pressure. The kit also comes with carbon steel caliper brackets, SC1 Street Brake Pads, and is designed for easy bolt-on installation with no vehicle modifications required in most applications. This big brake kit is backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering defects.
