Procomp Big Brake Kit Front

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers enhanced stopping power with its SuperComp 8-piston calipers and 400mm slotted rotors, specifically designed for the 2003-2009 Cadillac CTS. These kits incorporate advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface during demanding use. The lightweight calipers are machined from aircraft-quality billet, featuring an extreme lightweight differential bore configuration that weighs just over 5 lbs. each. They also include machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping. The unique slotting pattern on the rotors minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. While cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, these slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles with more track-oriented use.
