The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for the BMW E30 3-Series, offering a significant upgrade over stock braking systems. Designed as a sophisticated bolt-on solution, this kit enhances brake performance, especially under sustained high-heat conditions encountered during spirited driving or track use. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece forged billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. They feature an opposed-piston design for consistent brake pad grip and wear, along with high-temperature seals and titanium retainer clips. The rotor's two-piece design also helps mitigate warping caused by heat buildup. Standard kits include cross-drilled rotors recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, with an option to upgrade to slotted rotors for track use. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for daily driving and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. Customization options include a wide range of caliper colors, from standard shades like Orange, Red, and Black to premium high-polish and special anodized finishes. Additional upgrades for the center bell, such as Titanium or Twin Color Anodized options, are also available.
